It's been three years now after announcing that I will take a break. It was a long time for me to think about the future of The Magic Flight. It was a hard decision, but I came to the conclusion that there will be no further podcasts or posts on this blog. It was a cool thing and brought me lots of amazing experiences, but there are other projects out there waiting for me.
Of course, I'll leave all the existing posts online as they are still relevant and interesting.
Thanks to all of you who read the articles, listened to the shows and participated over the social media channels! And also thanks to all DJs who sent me their mixes and thanks to all artists I interviewed. It was an honor for me.
Again: It was a great time! Thank you! :)

Trance News Roundup (2014/week50)
This week’s link collection is rather a DANCE news roundup than a TRANCE news roundup as it contains only 50% Trance-related content. I hope you enjoy reading it anyway.

Craig Connelly - X [Black Hole Recordings]
Photo: Black Hole Recordings
Who of you still remembers the oldschool Tech Trance sound? You know, the one that our Dutch heroes Tiesto and Ron van den Beuken were famous for. "X" by Craig Connelly is just that. With its noisy, detuned and staccato lead sound, that track takes you on a stomping journey. More than that. The interplay between the typical Trance-like arpeggios and the aforementioned techy components turn "X" into an outstanding dancefloor filler.
